Hostal La Tetera is a charming, comfortable but moderately priced Guesthouse, especially thought for international, individual travellers. After more than 10 years since its beginning, the Hostel is recommended in most guide books, including the Lonely Planet and the South American Handbook.

Because we only have six rooms, the contact with the guests is very close. We organise excursions for those who wish, or we provide all the information you need, if you want to go on your own.Most rooms have shared bath, but there are also some with private bathroom. The building has lots of native wood that gives a cozy atmosphere. You will also find comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, a living room area and a garden. Central heating keeps you warm in cold and rainy days.

Hostal La Tetera is located in downtown Pucón, one block off the main street. The bus terminals are only four blocks away and it is about five blocks to the beach.    

We offer accommodation with breakfast, which is by now largely known among travellers. It includes real coffee, selected teas, fresh fruit juice,  home-made bread, müesli, yoghurt, ham and eggs, etc.

Prices are per person and include a big breakfast with tea or coffee, fruit juice, home-made bread, butter and jam. Furthermore you can choose between several additional breakfast options, such as müsli or ham and eggs. Foreigners not resident in Chile when paying in US-cash are free of taxes. Huerquehue national park, close to Pucón, consists of 125 square kilometres of mountains, lakes en valdivian rainforest. The highlight of the park are the lakes high in the mountains, surrounded by Araucaria trees (Monkey Puzzle Trees). From the Conaf office at the entrance of the park you can make a trekking called "Los Lagos".
