There are many different styles of hot springs in Pucón. Some are expensive, and some are not.

If you are looking for a quiet, rustic, natural, and reasonably priced hot springs, Termas Los Pozones is a great choice!

The seven different pools are located just 36 km outside of Pucón . All of the pools vary in size and temperature. There is a simple and basic infrastructure of dressing rooms, bathrooms, and a storage area for your belongings. There are no locks on the storage areas, so take the bare minimum of essentials with you. Another thing to remember is that there are no restaurants or concession stands around the pools, so bringing your own snacks are essential. Water is available at faucets on site.

We highly recommend a casual day hike in Villarica National Park. ¨Mirador Los Cráteres¨ Trail is a very easy hike with beautiful views of Volvan Villarica and the surrounding area. In only 4 km and an elevation gain of 280 meters, the whole family can enjoy two mirador lookouts called Mirador Fillkungüe and Los Crateres en Sendero.

The trail begins at the CONAF parking lot, about 300 meters from the Volcanic Caves.

In the beginning of the trail, you will go through a winding forest of gentle up and down slopes. At one point, the trail will split in two. Keep on the left to get to the first lookout. Summer is the only time that you will find a small stream along the trail. The rest of the year it remains dry. Don't forget your water!

The waterfalls of Caburgua are a series of waterfalls near Caburgua lake. It's only 20 kilometers from Pucón and is easily accesible with a car or  bike. We recommend that you see the falls from the side which is not on the mainroad because the view is much more detailed. There is also a nice short trekking route on the shore of the river.

Huerquehue national park, close to Pucón, consists of 125 square kilometres of mountains, lakes, and a valdivian rainforest. The highlight of the park are the lakes high in the mountains, surrounded by Araucaria trees (Monkey Puzzle Trees). From the Conaf office at the entrance of the park, you can make a trekking called "Los Lagos".
