  • Rates

    Rates are per room. Hostel La Tetera accepts only cash payments or bank transfers. We do not accept credit or debit cards.

    Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in foreign money and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in Chilean pesos. 

    Currently, we accept the following foreign currencies: US Dollars (USD) and Euros (EUR).

    The foreign currencies in the table below are calculated against the Chilean peso about every three hours and may vary in time. As such, you can use those rates only as a reference. When paying your bill with a foreign currency, we will check the table below to calculate the correct amount.

  • Tarifas

    Las tarifas son por habitación. Hostal La Tetera acepta solo pagos en efectivo o transferencias bancarias. No aceptamos tarjetas de crédito o débito.

    De acuerdo con las leyes fiscales locales, todos los ciudadanos chilenos y extranjeros residentes deben pagar una tarifa adicional (IVA) del 19%. Para estar exentos de esta tarifa adicional del 19% (IVA), el pago se debe realizar en moneda extranjera y se debe presentar una copia de la tarjeta de inmigración y el pasaporte. El pasajero no estará exento de esta tarifa cuando pague en pesos chilenos.

    Actualmente aceptamos las siguientes monedas extranjeras: dólares estadounidenses (USD) y euros (EUR).

    Las monedas extranjeras en la tabla a continuación se calculan contra el peso chileno aproximadamente cada tres horas y pueden variar en el tiempo. Como tal, puede usar esas tarifas solo como referencia. Cuando pague su factura con una moneda extranjera, veremos la tabla a continuación para calcular la cantidad correcta.
